Little Nursery Teachers Special Plans
Let’s Make Playdoh!
Ingredients Needed:
1 cup of all purpose flour
1/2 cup of salt
1 cup of water
2-3 tablespoons of cooking oil
Food coloring
Utensils to have ready:
Large bowl
Ingredients Needed:
2 and 1/4 cups of cornstarch
1/2 cup of shampoo
6 tablespoons of water
Some type of coloring (food coloring/ watercolor/paint)
Utensils you should have ready:
A bowl to mix in
A tray/cookie sheet to use underneath
Measuring cups
A spoon
An area for your child to continue to play with it
Tupperware or container with a lid to keep it in
Special Note: Slime will last longer if kept refrigerated
Making Your Own Paint – DIY Paint!
Ingredients Needed:
1 cup of flour
1.5 cups of water (2 cups if needed)
3/4 of a cup of salt
Food coloring (any 4 colors of your preference, or any available)
Utensils You should have ready:
A bowl to mix in
A whisk
Measuring cups
A spoon or two to mix the paint
2-4 small containers with a lid to store the paint in
Paper and brushes ready to try your paints ( You can also just use your hands, or experiment with other possible ways to paint)
